Bring the mulcher to the pile. Large quantities of garden prunings can quickly become a handling and disposal problem. Where access allows, flail mulching can process bulky prunings right where they’ve been collected — reducing the volume of material and avoiding unnecessary loading, carting and double handling. The resulting organic material can often remain on the property and be reused where appropriate. Less handling. Less waste. A more practical way to manage property clean-ups. Bushfire preparation starts long before summer. Reducing accumulated leaf litter, sticks and fallen branches on this steep Katoomba property using Tonka and our tow-behind stick rake. Less fuel. Better access. A more manageable property. Recover • Improve • Transform Yard & Paddock Services 0407 016 443
The filming might be a little dodgy over the shoulder 😄 — but the new leaf and stick rake is doing exactly what we hoped. Working under the trees in a goat paddock at a Katoomba property, we're collecting the heavy build-up of leaves and fallen sticks that was smothering the grass beneath. Removing the accumulated material will help the area recover while also reducing the amount of dry fuel sitting under the trees. Another simple addition to the equipment lineup that helps us manage properties more efficiently. Getting materials in — and timber out. On steep, rough and difficult-access properties, moving materials can be as challenging as the work itself. Tonka helps us move tools and materials into difficult areas and bring timber and debris back out — reducing manual handling and making property recovery more practical. Not sure if the hills are getting steeper or I'm getting older... 😄 Either way, this beats carrying it. Tonka making another run up the hill. Not the fastest machine on site, but it might be one of the most useful. #yardandpaddockservices #propertyrecovery #difficultaccess #acreageproperty #ruralproperty
